Application Field
I. Power transmission system:
Power transmission system means to transmit power to electrical network. It increases the low voltage before transmission it for long distance. The higher the voltage is, the less the current is, so there will be less lost for current during the transmission. 
Power transmission system is divided into two parts: 1. Power transmission lines and substation. 
Most of power transmission system is consisted of aerial transmission lines, stranded aluminum conductor, ACSR, extended diameter conductor and composite overhead ground wire and so on. 
Generally speaking, voltage from power plant is low. If there is no voltage increase, according to ratio of UI, there will be big current in the transmission lines. It is known that temperature of lines is related to resistance and current. The bigger the current is, the temperature in the same conductor will be higher. Then most of the power generated from power plant will be lost on the conductors. Besides, the higher the temperature of the conductor, there will be more damages to conductors. In order to avoid the negative effects caused by the above problems, we make measures to higher the voltage to reduce the power. That what substation does. Cable used for substation is generally power cables with the corresponding voltage. Meantime, according to different laying environment and methods, different cables need to be taken into account.  
II. Clean energy
-Wind energy 
With reduction of mineral energy, including coal, petroleum and so on, as well as the enforcement of awareness to protect environment, people are trying to explore and apply renewable energy to realize the social sustainable development. Among all the new energies, wind energy generation is developed fastest, most economic, green and environment-friendly. Wind energy is a kind of available energy because of the air current. It is renewable energy (including hydraulic power, bioenergy and so on.) what the energy coming out from the air current is called wind energy. The bigger the air speed is, the bigger the wind energy will be. 
Wind energy cables are mostly applied as the connection line of wind motor. Its applied environment is harsh, which requires the cables are not only with excellent electrical and anti-twisting parameters, but also excellent other parameters, including wear resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, water resistance, anti-ageing, weather resistance, high waterproof moisture permeability, windproof, antibacterial, antibiosis, anti-ultraviolet radiation and environmental-protection and so on. Cables with excellent parameters can only be produced on the basis of the conditions and requirements of the application sites. Cable types and raw materials shall be chosen strictly and production processes shall be controlled. Meantime, factory tests and all kinds of type tests and sampling tests shall be furnishes so that the wind energy cables can be operated safely and stably in long-term.
 
-Solar cable:
Solar technology will become one of green energy technology in future, solar or photovoltaic increasingly wide application in China. To build economic and efficient profitability of photovoltaic power plants, it will be the most important goal and core competitiveness for all the solar manufacturers. In the solar power generation system, solar photovoltaic is an indispensable accessories, its role cannot be underestimated.
Solar cable is a kind of special cables used for solar photovoltaic components system, is a kind of electron beam cross linking cable. It is resistant to climate, high temperature resistant, friction resistance and other characteristics. With long service life and high quality of tin plating copper conductor ensures superior conductivity, after electron accelerator radiation crosslinking, insulation and sheath material should suit the insulating performance and mechanical performance is greatly enhanced. Solar cable rated temperature is 120°C, in the equipment which can withstand harsh climates and withstand mechanical shock. According to international standard IEC216, in outdoor environment, service life of solar cable is 8 times that of the rubber cable, and 32 times compare with PVC cable. These cables and components not only has the best weather resistance, ultraviolet resistance and ozone erosion resistance, and can bear a greater range of temperature change (for example: - 40°C to 125°C).
Solar power cable of rated temperature of 120°C can be used for 20000 hours. This rating is equivalent to 90°C temperature under the condition of continuous use 18 years; When temperature is below 90°C, its service life is longer. The service life of the general solar equipment should be 20 to 30 years.
 The outdoor materials selection of solar cable applications should be based on ultraviolet radiation, ozone and chemical erosion, severe temperature changes. If we do not consider the above factors to use cheap material, will lead to the cable sheath is fragile, and will also break down the cable insulation. All of these will directly increase the cable system loss, the cable will also increase in the risk of cable short circuit occur. From the long term, the possibility of a fire or personal injury is also occurring.

III. Petroleum
Petroleum is significant energy in domestic economy. Compared with coal, petroleum has the characteristics of large energy density (heat of combustion of petroleum is higher 50% than standard coals with the same weight), convenient transportation, less pollution to air after combustion and so on. Fuel oil refined from petroleum is main fuel materials for transportation vehicles, utility boiler and all kinds of furnaces applied in metallurgical industry and construction materials industry. Liquefied gas and pipeline gas whose raw material is petroleum is excellent supply for city citizens’ life. 
Wires and cables, as the electrical bridge for the electricity system of oil and gas exploration platform, has played significant role. Cables applied in petroleum industry have the following characteristics: harsh application conditions, large damage quantity, short placement cycle time. Its application conditions are similar with that for logging cables, most of which are applied for short-term. The application conditions are with high temperature and high pressure. According to the different areas of oil field, other conditions shall be taken into account, including geothermal gradient, hold pressure and borehole medium and so on. 
Main products include ESP cables, high temperature pump cables, logging cable for medium and deep wells, cable for supreme deep well, submersible pump cables, logging cables with small diameter, comprehensive logging cables, perforated cable, heating cables, electrode system cable and ultrasonic oil production cables and so on. We invested $160 million to cooperate with GE on the production project of ESP cables in 2013. It is estimated that annual production capability of elevator and petroleum cable are 28 thousand meters. And it is estimated that sales quantity of ESP cables will hold 30% of the marketing shares of the similar products in global market and the annual production value is expected to reach RMB2.6 billion. 
IV. Coal
As for the modern industry, coals are playing significant roles for heavy industry and light industry, energy industry, metallurgical industry, chemical industry, mechanical industry, and textile industry, food industry and transportation industry. All kinds of industrial departments need a certain quantity of coals to some extent. 
Mining is the main method to develop coals and the corresponding system includes driving system, mechanical and electrical system, transportation system, ventilation system and drainage system, which are “DMETV systems+ drainage system” for short. Mineral cables are short names for cables applied special for mines, which are widely applied to each system. Mineral cables are fire resistance cables to be certified by the safety certification issued by Mining Products Safety Approval and Certification Center. Mineral cables include U (M) type mineral rubber cables which are in accordance with GB/T12972-2008 and MT818-2009, underground mineral winding and towing cables which are in accordance with AS/NZS 1802:2003, general mineral winding and towing cables which are in accordance with AS/NZS 2802:2003. Besides, we can produce cables that are in accordance with NEMA WC 58-2008/ ICEA S-75-381-2008,IEC and Germany standards.
V. Industrial cables
   Industry is significant part of secondary industry, including light industry and heavy industry, which involves steel, mechanical, chemical, textile and so on. Power is a necessary energy for the preceding fields and applied into each process. Cables, as the media for power transportation, are widely used in this field. Due to difference in industrial fields, operation environments, there are different requirements for the application of cables, for example, cables applied for steel industry need to be flame retardant, fire resistance, and high temperature resistance; cables applied for chemical and textile industry need to be with acid and alkali proof, anti-erosion and so on. Besides, cables need to be with low temperature resistance, towing resistance and sunlight resistance and so on according to lying out and operation environment. 
VI. Marine projects
Marine projects aim to develop, apply, protect and recover the marine energy. The main body of marine projects are located in new-construction, modified-construction and expanded construction from the offshore to sea. Generally speaking, the main content of marine projects can be divided into energy development technology and equipment technology, including in detail, sea reclaim, offshore dam, artificial islands, sea and seabed material storage facilities, cross-sea bridges, and seabed tunnels, submarine electric (optical) cable engineering, projects of marine mineral resources exploration and exploitation, and ancillary works, marine energy exploitation and utilization project which include maritime tidal power stations, wave power stations, stations based on temperature difference and so on, seawater comprehensive utilization project which includes large seawater farms, and artificial fish-reefs, salt field,  sea water desalinization and so on, marine entertainment and sports, landscape developmental projects, as well as other marine projects regulated by State Oceanic Administration Department in conjunction with the environmental protection departments under State Council. 
Marine cables are those special for all kinds of marine projects, such as power, control and gauge cables applied for all kinds of drilling molds, oil exploration platform. Their remarkable characteristics include high mechanical strength, oil and mud resistance, anti-ultraviolet, bunched combustion or fire resistance, temperature resistance and so on.
